We have three weeks from today before the election, and while it looks like Barack Obama has a large lead in electoral college votes, John McCain has the smell of desparation all over him. Who knows what sort of dirty tricks he’s going to pull out of his hat? In this video, John McCain revives parts of an old speech he used back in 2004 to support George W. Bush, recycling them in his own campaign stump speech.
If he’s so out of ideas that he has to recycle old speeches, what sort of new ideas can he bring to the table of leadership?
On the other hand, we must continue to be full of energy and support in this last stretch for Barack Obama. Our stamina must not flag, and our will must stay strong. We are so close to November 4th, and we must keep volunteering on phone banks, walking door to door, talking to our friends, family, neighbors, and co-workers about why President Obama is the right choice for the future.
