First, John McCain says Barack Obama is dangerous, risky, etc. He and his running mate have incited people, whipping them into a violent frenzy, with crowds calling out to “kill him,” “off with his head,” “terrorist,” and other threatening language. Now, he realizes that that is turning off the independents, so he’s trying to tamp down that dangerous rhetoric, and of course, confused supporters boo as a result.
I wonder how many of his independent supporters will open their eyes and take a fresh look at Obama as a result of McCain’s endorsement of him as “decent” and a “family man?”
