Congratulations, New Hampshire

In another victory for the proponents of civil rights for all people, the New Hampshire legislature passed the revised bill legalizing same-sex marriage and it now goes to the governor’s signature. The governor has indicated that he will sign this bill, and he could possibly sign it as early as tomorrow!

That makes six states that have legalized same-sex marriage: Massachusetts, Vermont, Maine, Iowa, Connecticut, and now New Hampshire!

Which state is next?  New York?  Will California repeal it’s separate-but-not-equal Proposition 8?  The excitement is building, but we have a lot of hard nitty-gritty political work to do still.
